Guys, Im upgrading from my RX 580 to RTX 2070 super (thinking about MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Super Ventus OC). 600 watts is fine. They’re part of the NVIDIA RTX 20 series which is essentially the successor of the NVIDIA GTX 10 series. But the new RTX 30 series recommends at minimum a 650W power supply for the RTX 3070. RTX 2070 Super reference card or founders edition card has a TDP of 215 watts which is around 40 watts more than the RTX 2060 Super and the recommended wattage for it is 650 watts power supply from Nvidia. I assume those numbers are for external draw, including PSU losses, meaning they are likely 10% higher than internal draws.
HI guys I recently bought a new rtx 2070 super (msi ventus oc) and a ryzen 3700x for my rig. Considering the card doesn't even pull 200w, and the cpu only around 100w under load, even that is potentially a bit high. Close. Posted by 5 months ago.

I would think "Light" overclocking would be ok. AMD are pretty honest about TDP/power consumption.
