We work with most all private insurance providers to help offset the majority of the out-of-pocket treatment cost. The program meets for 3.5 hours and typically includes a minimum of two (2) sessions: A “Therapy Group” that allows individuals to address issues of current concern, and a “Skills Group” that focuses on recovery skills.

At Lighthouse’s Clinical Services building we offer individual therapy as part of the Dallas Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or on its own. Many IOP program facilities even host their own support groups to make it easier for people to join. We offer night groups and telehealth options for those with busier schedules. Still, it is not as major of a component of intensive outpatient programs as group therapy. • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) • Urinalysis and Breathalyzer Testing We believe that addressing the underlying issues, rather than trying to treat the symptoms of addiction or alcoholism, will lead to more positive experiences and outcomes in those we serve. Like all inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment programs, there are a variety of treatments that intensive outpatient programs use. Our flexible programming allows clients to continue to live at home, go to work or attend school, and still get the therapeutic support they need.
We offer a free assessment for everyone who calls needing help with no obligation to enroll in our programs. An IOP program is also made for people that are able to maintain their sobriety at home during the night. Located in the heart of Dallas, our licensed Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is easily accessible. Thus, no person will be the wiser. IOP is more intensive than one or a few hours a week of outpatient services, but less intensive than residential rehab. You should go to an IOP program for around three hours in the evening, three to five days a week. The work should happen during the program, not before. This means that your substance abuse addiction is not severe and you have the ability to stay sober when you’re alone.

It also teaches IOP program members how to practice relapse prevention techniques. IOP is often a good alternative for those with families or careers that they are unable to take too much time away from. Typically, an IOP lasts 8 to 12 weeks.
