The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from town and also about 10 minutes walk from the ferry stop that goes to the islands, as well as the funicular. The hotel itself is very pleasant and well situated near the attractions of the Old City. The hotel is centrally located and a pleasing mix of modern refurbishment (including lots of interesting art on the walls) and slightly faded Victorian grandeur.
