"They're forced together to keep this, secret if you will. Season two of the Emmy-nominated Netflix dramedy ended with quite the cliffhanger. But it also felt pretty dark.

I don't know what I love more, the wacky, incredible dialogues or the captivating performances of the two leads. Christina and Linda are excellent. But there's a surprising new visitor in town and Detective Perez (Diana Maria Riva) is hot on their heels, so Jen and Judy have to take drastic measures to protect their loved ones and each other…no matter the cost. This one lost me.. the betrayal at the centre of season two is harder to reconcile and it feels a bit tired watching the familiar trope of people deciding whether or not to continue hiding a crime and how to get away with it. And the Dead to Me season 2 soundtrack is the perfect example of that right balance. Dead to Me doubles down on the twists and turns out an exciting second season that makes excellent use of its well-matched leads.
