Not purchasing the game unless the save issues have been fixed... We now have a patch available on the Nintendo Switch which will resolve a reported issue involving save data for Batman: The Telltale Series. The same problem happened during the exact same section of Episode 4. All rights reserved.
Have tried reloading, restarting Steam, restart PC, and even a reinstall. My game is up to date, so it doesn’t look like much has changed in the way of making it better. This issue is now resolved and you should not experience it again on a new save. Once fixed I would love to see S2 on the Switch by the way.
I would like to restart. TEW fixed the issue. I exited out of the game partway through episode three, brewed some coffee, came back after doing some stuff on my Switch, restarted the game and BOOM! We're aware of an issue which can break your saves on the Switch and we're working on a patch. Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest patch and also copy your save over to another slot. At the very least Telltale needs to fix this, soon.

I decided to restart Episode 4 on my playthrough before playing Episode 5 when it came out, reset the the whole game and Episode 5 started with a bunch of choices I didn't want or didn't choose. At this point I restarted my switch twice and restarted the game about 5 times, figuring it was an issue with the saved game data. I was enjoying it, but I don't know that I want to redo everything right now.
