As I was getting the Liquid metal off the block and the Core of the GPU I noticed something strange, I had what appeared to be something on the waterblock and the GPU die that almost looked like little shards of metal that would not come off with just wiping with alcohol. I opened my machine up to clean out some fans recently and put everything back and noticed my cpu was idling at like 55-60. I've had a 1080 and a 780ti water cooled previously and those all stayed very cool.
